About Me
Counselling for Adults — Person‑Centred Support in Peterborough and Online Across the UK
My Story
I’m Tonya, and I offer a calm, steady space where you can speak openly and be met with genuine care. Many people come to counselling simply wanting somewhere safe to pause, reflect and make sense of what’s happening in their inner world. My intention is to create a space where you feel heard, understood and supported as you explore whatever feels important to you.
I was drawn to this work because I believe everyone deserves a place where they can be met with warmth, honesty and acceptance. That belief shapes the way I sit with people - gently, collaboratively, and with deep respect for your own pace and inner wisdom.

My Values
- Compassion — meeting you with warmth and empathy, even when words are hard to find.
- Respect — honouring your pace and choices, without pressure or judgement.
- Safety — creating a space where you feel grounded and in control.
- Authenticity — showing up as a real person, not a distant professional.
- Clarity — no jargon, just straightforward, human conversations.
- Empowerment — supporting you to reconnect with your strengths and confidence.
These values shape every session. Counselling with me is about building a trusting, compassionate relationship where you can speak openly, reconnect with yourself, and move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
